Pinpoint a person who doesn’t know you .... a stranger. We’re gonna get our feet wet with a super easy challenge.

Comment on this persons Facebook page, instagram feed, YouTube video, podcast, Pinterest board, or even blog post. Whatever social platform you find them.

This should be a person who inspires you to be a better version of yourself. Someone you admire for whatever reason.

Make sure to write several thoughtful, meaningful sentences with the main objective being: love and encouragement, uplifting and gentle. If you’d like you can even send a DM, IM, PM whatever form of M you like.

Be sure to mention why their content stood out to you. Tell them why you’re inspired by them and why you’re grateful to them.

Use Hashtag #HelloNeighbor and #LiveDecorated throughout this challenge because that’s exactly what we’re decorated by loving on our neighbor.

Days 2, 3 & 4 (the weekend)

Watch the video...

I’ll post it on my professional Facebook page tomorrow ... Friday the 2nd.

Now that we got our feet wet by sharing some encouraging words it’s time to dive right in.

Start the weekend off right by loving those in your closest proximity. Your immediate family. Your spouse, parent, child or sibling. I want you to think of something kind to do for them.

It could be cook a special meal,

run a hot bath with candles galore, send loving random texts, steep some hot tea or brew some coffee, leave a love note somewhere they’ll easily find.

Basically let them know what they mean to you. This may come naturally to you. You may do things all the time for them...don’t stop! Don’t ever stop. Keep the love flowing but share your tips and ideas with the rest of us. We need some love ammo.

Comment at some point this weekend here or on the Live Decorated with Blu Wyatt Facebook group page encouraging others and sharing your story. Use hashtag #helloneighbor and #livedecorated There’s power in sharing. Don’t forget to encourage your accountability partner in this process.

We’re gonna be the light in the darkness this month. Let’s shine, Neighbors....shine.

Have a great weekend, neighbor. Be sure to check the Facebook page or group to keep updated....I’m still trying to work out this email business.

“So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.”
